The contact form on this page is the fastest way to reach us. Tell us a little about who you are, where you are writing from, and what you are hoping to connect about. A short note is fine; we will follow up with questions if we need them.
Reaching the right channel
Some inquiries have a clearer path:
- Fiscal sponsorship. If you are interested in becoming a sponsored project, start at our Get Sponsored pages. They explain who we sponsor, what is included, and how to apply.
- Partnerships and collaboration. Use the form and mention the kind of partnership you have in mind, whether that is a co-hosted gathering, shared infrastructure, or aligned program work.
- Starting or joining a branch. Tell us where you are based and what bioregion you call home. We will connect you with active organizing in your area, or help you think through starting something new.
- Media and speaking requests. Note your outlet or event, your timeline, and a sentence on the angle. We will route the request to the right team member.
- General questions. Anything else, just write. If we are not the right people to answer, we will try to point you somewhere useful.
Where we are
The Department of Bioregion was founded in 2019 in Seattle, Washington, on the unceded lands of the Coast Salish peoples. Our team is now distributed across Washington, Oregon, and California, and our community of branches and partners reaches further still. We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
A note on response times
Replies are slower than corporate inboxes, because the team is small and the work is place-based. If your message is time sensitive, say so clearly in the subject. Otherwise, please give us a week or two. We do follow up.
